Fully guided 2-day Mt. Fuji climb

Mt. Fuji is by no means an "easy mountain."

The internet is full of claims that "even beginners can do it easily," but in reality, we've seen many people give up exhausted on the first day, saying "this wasn't what I expected."

What Yamatrip offers is not just a sightseeing tour. To participate, you need basic physical fitness and, above all, a strong will to reach the summit.

For those worried about "whether I can really make it," we've prepared plans that virtually eliminate first-day dropouts. We support those serious about reaching Japan's highest peak with carefully planned routes and complete backup.

3 Reasons Why Climbers Choose Yamatrip

① The "Shortest & Most Scenic Route" — Perfect for Beginners

  • Fujinomiya Route: The shortest walking distance among all 4 routes
Conserve your energy while aiming for Japan's highest point — strongly supporting beginners' summit success.
  • Prince Route: An intermediate trail specially adapted for beginners
Originally a challenging course with the demanding "Osunabashiri" descent, Yamatrip has modified the descent to a gentler route. A beginner-exclusive plan that reduces knee and thigh impact while enjoying the spectacular Hoei Crater views on quieter trails.

② High-Quality Climbing Gear Rental Available

"It's a lot to buy everything for just one trip..." In response to this concern, we offer a high-quality basic 7-piece set for a special price of ¥9,000. Start your Mt. Fuji adventure safely with professional-grade equipment, while significantly reducing the burden of carrying heavy luggage.

③ Same-Day Arrival Possible from 27 Airports Nationwide

With departure from Haneda Airport at 9:45 AM, same-day participation is possible from 27 airports across Japan via the earliest morning flights. Head directly to Mt. Fuji without overnight stays, making the most of your precious holidays.

Frequently Asked Questions About Climbing Mt. Fuji

Q. I'm a complete beginner — will I really be okay?

A. About 80% of participants are beginners. Professional guides lead while teaching proper walking techniques. However, you do need a strong will to "definitely reach the summit" and basic fitness equivalent to regular walking.

Q. I'm worried about mountain sickness. Are there any countermeasures?

A. "Climbing slowly" and "staying hydrated" are crucial. For those with fitness concerns, we strongly recommend the "Original 7th station Plan" which sets the first night's accommodation lower to help your body acclimate to the altitude.

Q. Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?

A. We continue with rain gear in light rain. However, if the guide determines safety cannot be ensured due to strong winds or lightning, we will promptly decide to cancel or descend.

We provide a "Basic 7-piece Set" at a special price of ¥9,000 — the essentials that beginners often find confusing. Ensure your safety with proper mountaineering equipment.
