[Departing Shinjuku at 8:45 AM / Haneda Airport at 9:45 AM] Same-day pickup available from all over Japan, including Hokkaido and Kyushu! Head to Kengamine on the Prince Route and stay overnight at Sunabashirikan! 2-day Mt. Fuji Climbing Tour with a guide
Point 1: [Participation is possible from 27 airports nationwide] You can make it in time by taking a morning flight from Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Western Japan!
Have you given up, thinking, "It's so far away, I have to stay the night before..."? With a bus departing from Haneda Airport at 9:45, you can join on the day from 27 airports across the country! If you take the first flight of the morning, arriving at Haneda Airport at 9:20, you can depart for Mt. Fuji without staying the night before. What's more, if your return flight is after 7:00 PM at Haneda, you can return home the same day after the tour ends. You can make the most of your weekend and challenge Japan's highest mountain without having to worry about work the next day.
*Airports where same-day round trips are possible (assuming summer schedule): Hokkaido (New Chitose), Tohoku (Aomori, Akita, Shonai), Hokuriku/Chubu (Komatsu, Toyama, Chubu), Kansai (Kansai, Kobe, Itami), Chugoku (Okayama, Iwakuni, Hiroshima, Yonago, Tottori, Yamaguchi Ube), Shikoku (Takamatsu, Matsuyama, Tokushima), Kyushu (Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Oita, Saga, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Kumamoto)
*This may be subject to change due to schedule changes. Please be sure to check your flight time.
Point 2: The secret to increasing your chances of reaching the summit! Leave your unnecessary luggage at the mountain hut "Sunabashirikan" and head to the summit
For lodging, we will use Sunabashirikan (altitude approximately 3,100m), which offers a wide range of services that beginners will appreciate. The biggest advantage is that you can leave any luggage you don't need at the mountain hut when you attack the summit . By traveling light, you can dramatically reduce the amount of energy you use up and greatly increase your chances of successfully reaching the summit.
Point 3: A warm breakfast to soothe your chilled body before descending the mountain
The food at Sunabashirikan is also highly rated. You can have as many refills as you like for dinner curry! And for breakfast, after returning from your summit ascent, you'll be served "warm rice and miso soup." While typical tours often serve cold lunches, a warm meal will thaw your body from the inside out after watching the sunrise from the summit in the frigid cold. It's the perfect way to relax and get back on track for the descent.
Point 4: Guide to Japan's highest peak, Kengamine (3776m)
Enjoy the spectacular view of the dynamic Hoei Crater on the less crowded Prince Route. Of course, your goal is the top of Japan. After joining the other route, we will continue to aim higher and guide you to the summit of Kengamine (3,776m), the highest peak in Japan.
*Due to bad weather, crowding, or the physical condition of the guests, the guide may decide to descend the mountain instead of going to Kengamine.
Point 5: Fully accompanied by a guide! After descending the mountain, stop by a hot spring facility (each person pays their own bathing fee)
During the climb, professional guides who are experts on the Fujinomiya Prince Route will accompany you, with one guide for every 15 guests. They will manage your pace and lead you safely. After descending the mountain, you will stop by a hot spring facility. The bathing fee is not included in the tour price, so you can spend your time as you like, such as "washing off the sweat in the hot springs," "enjoying a meal and beer," or "looking for souvenirs."
*Bathing fees and food and drink charges must be paid by the individual. *Depending on traffic conditions, the hot spring visit may be shortened or omitted.
Point 6: Trusted "Yamarent" Popular Mt. Fuji Climbing Equipment Rental Service
Even in midsummer, temperatures near the summit of Mt. Fuji drop close to freezing, but beginners often fall into the misconception that down jackets alone are enough to keep them warm. Down jackets can cause you to sweat and become cold, so they're not suitable for wearing while on the move. For safety reasons, this tour recommends a 7-piece set (9,000 yen) that includes a fleece. For those with concerns about their physical strength, a 12-piece set (14,000 yen) is also available. In addition to hiking pants, the tour also includes functional tights and knee supports to reduce strain on the legs, providing powerful support for your climb to the summit.
