[For those concerned about fitness] Minimize Day 1 hiking distance! Stay at Original 7th station for gradual altitude acclimatization. 2-day guided Mt. Fuji Climbing Tour (departing Shinjuku at 8:45 AM / Haneda Airport at 9:45 AM)

Tour Highlights

Point 1: 【The Ultimate Beginner Strategy】 A "Pre-game Jog" to Wake Up Your Body Before the Midnight Summit Push

Shortest Route

Before a big game, athletes always warm up with a light jog. Day 1 of this course follows that exact philosophy.
The hike from Fujinomiya 5th Station (2,400m) to Yamaguchi-sanso Hut (3,010m) is a 2.2km trek taking about 3 hours. Instead of pushing for a high-altitude hut immediately, you’ll start by letting your body adjust to the mountain air and incline through gentle movement.
After warming up your legs at over 3,000m, you'll reach the hut before dusk. Arrive without letting your body cool down, have dinner, and prepare for the midnight summit attack.
A body in motion stays in motion. By starting the midnight trek with muscles already "primed" from Day 1, you’ll find it much easier to keep moving toward the peak from the very first step.
*Departure from the 5th Station is in the afternoon. Arrival at the hut is typically between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. While your stay is short, it creates the perfect rhythm: eat, rest, and gear up for the summit push.

Point 2: 【Altitude Sickness Prevention】 "Acclimatize Through Movement" is the Secret to Success

Resting at the Mountain Hut

Altitude sickness is the #1 reason people don't reach the top of Mt. Fuji. While the common advice is "rest slowly," this course takes a more proactive approach.
By physically walking from 2,400m to 3,010m on the first day, your body naturally adapts to the change in elevation. Rather than gaining altitude quickly via bus, this "Active Acclimatization" helps your body adjust more effectively.
You’ll arrive at Yamaguchi-sanso (3,010m) around 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Though the stay is brief, the benefits of the altitude you gained on foot will stay with you. Starting your midnight climb with a body already acclimated to 3,000m is our answer to beating altitude sickness.

Point 3: 【Join from 27 Airports Nationwide】 No Pre-night Stay Needed with a 9:45 AM Haneda Departure!

To Mt. Fuji from all over Japan

"I want to climb Mt. Fuji, but I live too far away and can't afford an extra night in Tokyo..." We have great news! We designed this tour around a 9:45 AM departure from Haneda Airport specifically so people from all over Japan can participate. This schedule allows travelers from 27 airports nationwide to fly in and join the tour on the same day via the earliest morning flights.

By taking a flight that arrives at Haneda by 9:20 AM, you save both the cost and time of an overnight stay. On the return trip, catching a flight departing Haneda at 7:00 PM (19:00) or later allows you to be home the same night. You can complete your Mt. Fuji adventure in just a weekend. We’ve made it easy for anyone in Japan to fulfill their dream of standing on the nation’s highest peak.

■ Flexible Pick-up and Drop-off Locations!

For added convenience, you can mix and match your locations, such as "Meet at Haneda Airport → Dismiss at Shinjuku" or "Meet at Shinjuku → Dismiss at Haneda Airport." This tour is open to everyone nationwide, offering the flexibility to fit your lifestyle and travel plans.

【How to Book】
On the booking form, please enter the number of participants at your preferred bus boarding (meeting) location. If your drop-off location differs from your boarding location, simply inform our staff on the day of the tour.

■ Booking Your Own Flights is the Best Way to Save!

We recommend booking your round-trip flights to Haneda Airport yourself as early as possible through airline websites. By taking advantage of "Early Bird" discounts and combining them with this tour, you can achieve your Mt. Fuji climb at a very affordable price, even from far away.

■ Timing for Flight Bookings and Payments

The status of the tour will change from "Accepting Applications" to "Confirmed." Please keep the following in mind when arranging your flights:

  • If status is "Accepting Applications":
We recommend waiting until the tour is "Confirmed" before paying for your flights. Confirmation will be decided no later than 55 days before departure.
  • If you wish to secure flights early:
In many cases, flights can be canceled with only a 440 yen refund fee per segment up to 55 days before departure (*1). You may choose to book in advance to secure better pricing or availability.

*1 Some promotional fares may incur cancellation fees immediately after payment. Please check the fare rules of your specific booking.

*Airports with possible same-day round trips: Hokkaido (New Chitose), Tohoku (Aomori, Akita, Shonai), Hokuriku/Chubu (Komatsu, Toyama, Chubu), Kansai (Kansai, Kobe, Itami), Chugoku (Okayama, Iwakuni, Hiroshima, Yonago, Tottori, Yamaguchi-Ube), Shikoku (Takamatsu, Matsuyama, Tokushima), Kyushu (Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Oita, Saga, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Kumamoto).
*Subject to schedule revisions. Please verify your specific flight times.

■ 8:45 AM Departure from Shinjuku! A Relaxed Start for Tokyo Residents

By syncing with the Haneda group, the Shinjuku departure is at a comfortable 8:45 AM. For those in the Tokyo area, this means avoiding the early morning rush and starting your journey with peace of mind. Whether you're coming from afar with "no pre-stay" or from Tokyo with a "relaxed start," everyone can join in peak condition.

Point 4: Guided Trek to Japan's Highest Peak, "Kengamine" (3,776m)

Group at the summit

While Day 1 is a gentle start, Day 2 is all about the climb. If your acclimatization goes well, you'll be surprised at how well your body moves. Your guide will lead at a steady pace, taking you all the way to "Kengamine," the absolute highest point in Japan.

*Depending on weather, congestion, or health, the guide may decide to descend without visiting Kengamine.

Point 5: Professional Guide Included! Visit a Hot Spring After the Descent

Small tour group

During the climb, a pro guide who knows the Fujinomiya and Prince Routes inside and out will accompany you (1 guide per 15 participants). After descending, the bus stops at a hot spring facility. Since the bathing fee is not included, you are free to choose how to spend your time—relaxing in the springs, enjoying a beer, or shopping for souvenirs.

*Bathing fees and food/drink are at your own expense. *The stop may be shortened or omitted depending on traffic.

Point 6: Trusted Rental Gear! Popular Mt. Fuji Rental Sets

Even in summer, Mt. Fuji's summit can be near freezing. A common beginner mistake is thinking "a down jacket is enough." Since down can cause sweat-chilling, we recommend our "7-Piece Set" (9,000 yen) which includes a fleece. For more support, we offer a "12-Piece Set" (14,000 yen) with performance tights and knee supporters to help power your climb.

✨ Exclusive Pricing for Yama-Trip Participants

"Yamadougu Rental-ya" is a specialized rental shop that has served over 400,000 hikers since 2010. They are industry leaders in Mt. Fuji rentals.

They offer a worry-free system with no cancellation fees, no security deposits, and free size changes.

The best part? You don't have to carry dirty gear home. With shop pickup, you can arrive at the meeting point light and ready. Tour participants can access these rentals at exclusive discounted rates.
