[Ogawa Sayuri] Cat hand towel FUN & RISK
[Ogawa Sayuri] Cat hand towel FUN & RISK
This is an original tenugui towel made by mountain guide Ogawa Sayuri from Hinokio hut.
"FUN & RISK" mountain has a message that "fun and danger are in harmony in the story" and a theme of safe mountain climbing.
I made it.
The bird above the cat's head is a three-legged crow.
In Japanese mythology, it is said that when Emperor Jimmu entered Yamato from Kumano, this bird was sent by Amaterasu Omikami to guide him through the mountains.
Yatagarasu is the guardian deity of the mountains who guided climbers along the rugged mountain paths. Even today, he continues to illuminate the path for climbers.
The journey to Mt. Fuji is inspired by the five-colored "Tarcho" flag, a symbol of safe mountain climbing in Nepal.
Among the flags is a "Teru Teru Cat" that purifies the sky.
All of the illustrations are of things you would want to have in your backpack or wear on your body.
Plus+ We hope you will use this tenugui as a "safe mountain climbing charm" to circulate your sweat and tears of emotion.
With preparation, equipment, and sure footsteps, mountains can be beautiful but also harsh at times.
I hope that they will not get into any accidents or get injured, and that they will come down the mountain safely with a smile on their face. I pray for this.
